Associate Game Designer / Producer

This was my first industry role after completing my bachelor’s degree. I was hired as both a game designer and producer. My main responsibility was rapidly building and deploying new mobile games and then iterate on them to try and find new games with strong retention and onboarding funnels.

As more and more games look to live service models, the practices and learnings of mobile game development have become more relevant than ever. Games now are not only competing with each other for the user’s time, but also with other forms of entertainment meaning that converting and retaining a user is crucial even for single player games.

Starting in mobile was like a crash course for my game development career, I was able to get a lot done in a short amount of time and get a great foundation of experience that I could build on.
